Nursing Unions Advancing Staffing Ratios
Nursing unions across the country are pushing state legislation mandating nurse-to-patient staffing ratios (staffing ratios). These laws do not support healthcare workers in the way healthcare workers need, do not address the underlying issues driving healthcare shortages, and compromise the high-quality delivery of healthcare on which patients rely.
